Can people give me links to the best pricing on a 5D3 in Europe. Trying to see if I can get a better deal than the UK prices but still retain a 'kosher' EU warranty. I have tried google-ing but not sure what places are trustworthy.
I was wondering whether there were any decent French, Dutch, German, etc dealers who would ship to the UK where the price would be cheaper there? Trying to avoid the ebay retailers if I can.
Why? to spend more than in other places in the UK? Guys, as I wrote clearly in the OP, I'm looking for European retailers, I know the pricing in the UK and don't want to spend it if I don't have to!
Try the various Amazons if you want (.fr, .de, .es, etc.), and follow up with Google Shopping in the most promising country from your Amazon searches, but you’re not going to beat £2200 at the moment.
HDEW Cameras supplied mine last summer for £2259 + delivery. Within a few days of purchase, before I had taken delivery, the price dropped by £70, which they refunded on request without fuss.
Today it is down to £1879 + delivery. They have a very good rep. My camera was sourced from Europe and includes a one year warranty which Canon UK will honour, plus a further two years third party warranty.

The camera will be EU Stock, the camera body comes with a three year warranty, which covers you for mechanical faults, breakdown, parts and labour and this will be repaired in the UK through a Canon repair centre. The first year of the warranty is with Canon and the next two years will be with us as your retailer.
Yes when you place the order if you request a VAT invoice we can get one sent out for you.
We do not discount on bank transfers I am afraid, the camera body is priced at the lowest we can offer as we do try to keep them as low as possible.
Delivery will be within 3-5 working days from when you place the order.
