Love that last shot! Still watching the local nests? I haven't seen much activity yet, other than the pair at the Mason City water treatment plant has returned. Their nest is pretty well screened by trees but they were in trees by the fishing turnout Sunday and I managed to get a semi-decent shot of the male.

I have been really busy with various things and haven't had much time to post or visit the forum. I am hoping new year will be different and promised myself to contribute more to the forum. Looks like you have mastered the 500 lens.
