p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Multiple speedlight bag recommendations?

Looking for a bag to carry 4-6 speedlights, batteries, gels, small on flash modifiers.

Looked at the Pelican cases but they seem overkill and pretty heavy empty.

Any others I should be looking into?

Maybe a Domke F-3X? You can see lots of bag reviews on cambags.com

not really in the long run. they do tend to be built to take a beating so you have to take that into account.

there are competing products out there but in order to compete they need to be like pelican

you can take many different types of bags and make them work.

Crumpler 6 MDH would fit 4-6 speed lights, batteries, gels, etc.
Has a nice shoulder strap and plenty of padding.

Do you need excellent protection (hard case), or budget and light protection (any old Lowepro)?

I do not need the protection level of a hardcase, I do want the organization offered by one.

I want to be able to look into the bag a quickly see if what I need is there or not. Without the weight the Pelican 1504 would be great, looking for a bag that size-ish, with that type of organization, but soft sided.
