In the nit picking dept., I wonder if the close crop on the top and on the bottom works. I think one or the other cropped close works more often than both.

Yep, I like this. Nicely done.
Her skepticism shows ever so slightly.
She looks to me like a pretty girl- but not beautiful- and probably unaccustomed to a lot of attention regarding her looks (going on the theory that all close-up photography has some basis on a person's looks).
I agree with Douglas on his suggestion about carrying a mini-portfolio to ease the concerns of people. It would certainly legitimize your proposal.

I think this is a very good idea. I always offer to send, via email, an image or two if they are interested. Sometimes even prints are sent, but I've never done a project of Bob's size.
She has an inviting face, but I do see that hint of skepticism.
