I would never enter private land without permission, no matter what nice photo opportunity there is. Most people are quite welcoming if you show them the respect they deserve and ask for permission first.

Thanks for the feedback UTE. I was about 2 feet over "the line" on a main road. It wasn't like I was 2 miles into enemy lines.
I like the lines on this Mitchell! I feel inhibited when it comes to private property, but sometimes, just do not see the harm, especially when a landscape is involved. A lot of farmers around here will open up their barns for photographs and discuss the known history of them if you take the time to engage them.
