Just following the tradition of doing a book for every year of my little girl. Here is year 3. I liked last year's book, so I basically did the same format. Plus it saved a lot of time, being able to reuse my existing templates. I'll be doing a 16x9 book from Vision Art, I love their books (Thanks again, Chuck and Doug)
The dad in me is very happy with them. The photo part is a little disappointed that there's not really any improvement over last year. So, I'm always open to suggestions, I've incorporated many of your suggestions from previous years into this album.
Love it David, you should be proud both as a father and as a photographer. I see improvement, but think that you're probably too close to it to see it.
Best,
Dave
p.s. I'm assuming that your "best of 2012" is on the cover. If not, it needs to be included.
david, i lilterally have not been on fm in months and just happened to come by today. seeing your album made me realize that i need to get back here more frequently! beautiful album. so much life! simply well done!
There's something special perusing images printed on a high quality book or album. In my mind digital images on tablets and what not couldn't replicate that same feeling.
Nice work!
Hey look tim park's back! You must be tired of all those Gangnam tours huh.
Tim, I gotta give you some of the credit here, my friend. You suggested in my 1st book to include more interactions with others. I took that to heart and really worked on that more the last 2 years.
Alwin, yeah I don't print stuff often, but there is just something special about it. I can't wait to get another VA book in my hands. Just a few more slight color adjustments and I'll get that order in soon.
Hey David, I was in FD over the Christmas but schedule was crazy. Like every crazed Canucks visiting nearby US, we spent alot of time in shopping areas. Ugh! Did visit the Tacoma Car Museum.
