p.1 #1 · Does D600 have same QA issues as some D800s?

(before any D800 people get defensive, I know not all D800 bodies have issues...)

However, the two D800s I have shot with had focus issues, and green tint issues...

So, I am now considering a D600, and thus have a few questions for D600 owners.
Have you found the D600 to have issues with either:

1. Focus consistency?
2. Green LCD?
3. Green tint on RAW files?

no. They had some dust/oil issues, but thats it.

D600 has some many dust and oil on its cmos

I had no dust issues or anything else fire that matter, so far is been perfect.

I haven't had any issues with the D800. As with anything, be aware of internet megaphone syndrome.

I haven't heard that. When my D600 gets here in another week (accidently pressed UPS Ground when ordering) I will let you know. But my D800 has no issues at all.

Two D600 bodies here... mostly for portrait and wedding photography. So far so good, but they are both prone to spotting in the way described by many on the Inet -- megaphone syndrome notwithstanding.

OK so it looks like the oil on mirror is the only widespread issue with this camera. Good to know.

D600 has dust,debris oil spotting (or whatever it is) mostly in top let corner, I would not buy it again.

Green tint on raw files? Raw files are a bunch of data with a jpeg preview file inside. I'm assuming you mean white balance is off when importing to your app of choice.

As far as the live view is concerned (aka jpeg preview on LCD) that is customizable and you can change that to what ever color you want.

Dirty sensor.....that is a real issue.
