Nice, simple. clean image, a slice of Americana. But, for me, the texture kills it - had to look 2 or three times to figure out what was going on. Sorry.

I think I would prefer it without the dog and person, too. Just a direct capture.

nteresting image, I admit I'm still "digesting" it... the extreme contrast between the whites and the deep blacks gives me the feeling of a "cartoonish" look... if this makes any sense.
It's a nice coincidence that "the epicenter" is on Main Street, isn't it?
PS: looks like you got some bad "dust bunnies" problem... I can totally relate to that Tried to clean my sensor today with some odd swabs bought from the internet (not like I can get eclipse products here in Brazil), let me tell you: it was scary! Thought those stains would never leave my sensor... but I'm feeling better now. And all my dust bunnies are in new places, it's gonna be fun to figure out their positions all over again.
