Wow, yesterday Canon was selling the 5D MK3 (Refurbished) for $2239.37 from Canon Direct:

They had a 20% off New Years Eve sale from the regular $2,799.21 price. This is the lowest that I have seen, and $1000 less than they are selling the body only new.
