silly me thinking that I was done spending money this year. order sent. :/
+1 to that haha. Order placed!
This is my first Canon official refurbished product, but I called their customer service and they explained that by 'refurbished' they mean overstock that wholesalers return to Canon. Therefore, they're supposed to have nonexistant shutter counts and are considered mint. Apparently they do come in the regular box, and have all the normal accessories. I'm guessing Canon has to sell them as 'refurbished' because they left Canon's hands for a period of time, but Canon does a complete quality check on the product (which means there might be even less of a chance of defects than a 'new' one lol). The only difference is that the warranty is 90 days (instead of 1 year) and there is a sticker on the box that says 'Refurbished from <insert store here>.' Once you receive the refurbished item, you have 14 days to return it.
Sounds like a steal to me! If anyone disagrees with the paragraph above, please let me know.

I will be very surprised if they come in a regular box. I highly doubt it.

You are right only thing is it will come in White box with very nice packaging. I got my 5Dmkii refurb and it was packed like its going out in space. Everything will be there like a new camera. Just inspect to make sure everything is working fine withing that 14 day return period. Mine came with shutter count of 40 on my 5Dmk ii.
