Hi,
I followed the manual to register AF home-points (separate orientation). However it doesn't seem to be working. In the vertical orientation, I set the hp to top part of the frame. All it did was blinked when I move the AF point elsewhere. Unlike the 7d when I press the joystick which automatically send the AF point back to its HP, the 5d3 doesn't.
I think I am missing something but not sure what. Help please....
I checked mine and it works automatically. Did you set the "Orientation linked AF point" to separate AF points setting? It is in the AF (purple) mode, the 4th square, BTW.
