I wonder what FM'ers recommend for photographing comet ISON next year? I don't have access to an equatorial mount so will be doing short exposures on a fixed tripod. I am planning to use my 135L, 50mm f1.8 and 24L on a 5D2, but owing to the importance of the event I would consider renting other kit if much more suitable.
