I made a trip to the Upper Peninsula back in September. I missed the fall colors by a few weeks, but still great stuff. Really want to make a return trip, and get the colors at peak.

5 Lake of the Clouds, Porcupine Mountains

7 Whitefish Point

Beautiful set. Your first image, which starts off this group, is well done but did not grab me. But WOW; after that - 3, 5 and 7 are stunning. Beautifully exposed, composed and presented. 7 is ethereal; if I had taken that image it would be a wallhanger in my house for sure! Excellent.

Thanks everyone, the trip was great..... and I really would like to make it again some day and try to get more of the fall colors at peak.... great place to take a vacation !!

You don't need to go and get the colors at peak because these are just mind blowing. Perfect colors. Very subtle and serene. Especially the first one.
