I took this picture on Christmas eve. It was raining here in San Diego,
so I had to move from the spot I had set up for pictures. The background
in the new spot gave me some trouble because it was bright and busy.

The fur coat is off white with some darker spots.

Thanks for the nice comments. She is very pretty, unfortunately, with her going to school I don't get to take her picture very often. When I do, I have to make the most of it.

Nice expression and light. I think it could be strengthened by cropping up from the bottom to just below her hand.

The colored picture is so much better, why did u remove the colors? The colors lighten up the picture so well!

Its kinda funny that you guys would say that, because before I did the conversion I printed the color version and did crop some of the bottom.

I've been on a little bit of a black and white kick as of late.

And yes you're right. I used three speedlights. Two as kickers, and the third one in a small Photoflex octabox as my main light.
