WOW!
Chris- all of these are super images! Can't possibly pick a favorite because they are so dissimilar.
Too bad the bicyclist wasn't a female; then our friends from Britain, AussieLand, KiwiLand (and a couple other countries) could legitimately call it a photograph of a "bird." .
About the name of your country :
Years ago I was traveling in Europe and fell in love with a Dutch woman named Tessie. She explained the difference between "Holland" (the name of a region along the coast) and "Netherlands" (the correct name of the country). Even the Dutch use the names interchangeably- so it's no big deal.
Americans are equally casual about a couple of terms. There is no country of "America." Canadians, Mexicans, Costa Ricans, Argentinians, etc are also Americans. My theory is that it sounds funny to call myself a "United Statesian" . So I follow the crowd.

Ah, Tessie from Harlem.
She was probably referring to the two county north and south Holland. Both to be found along the coast among other counties. Interesting.
Charlie, may I take this opportunity to thank you for all your extended comments.
All the best to you and have a great year, my friend.
