OK, got some on Nature/Wildlife that I will share.
Color balance off, too yellow.
Suggested slight crop from left.
Open shadows on bird more.
Clone out bird poop.
Hues are too close to yield good separation in some areas.
Other areas have tonal value bands that cut through behind the subject.
A strong area of contrast is behind ... the behind ... rather than the "drawing the eye" to the eye.
Background bokeh looks nervous (not sure @ lens vs. downsizing for web).
Focus / sharpness looks off (assuming downsizing issues @ web).
Tough crowd here today ... but we've seen such goodness from you ... it would seem patronizing to "ooh & ahh" over this one.
Probably not much help on this one ... but here's a stab at it ... although the same BG issues really still exist.
BTW ... diggin' the leading line provided by the stump.
The overall image composition is OK, but what really does it in is the focus. It just doesn't look sharp at all. Believe me I am an expert in this field, I can take just about any image just slightly out of focus.
If I didn't know for sure I had never seen this bird I would say its probably my image !
