Llandudno, Wales is often referred to as the "Queen of the Welsh Resorts". This quaint town offers scenic overlooks above what is know as the "Great Orme". One might hike to the top, or take a cable car that begins at the Happy Valley Garden Park. A long expanse of easily accessible beach offers a panorama view of both the charming city, and the Great Orme.

Partly because of the warm light on the land and the coolness of the water and foreground rocks.

We did the ride up the Great Orme on the cable car a few years ago and all I can really remember is that even through it was a lovely summers day, the wind was howling across the top and you could barely stand up...
