I never thought I'd say it, but these files do have quite a nice look to them, pretty happy with camera in terms of files but dang, coming from a 5d Mark II, this is way different. Need to order a grip now
Nice work, but perhaps too much detail for a portrait. It is hard not to focus on make up, powder, blemishes, skin texture, etc. I prefer this to the over-processed (air brush) look, but there has to be a happy medium. I would think this camera would be best for landscapes rather than portraits. But as you said, this is right out of the camera, so I am sure that with a little post processing, the image could be made more pleasing.
