I'm having a series of Fine Art Canvas prints done by WHCC. I want to center my wall around a 20" x 60" crop of one of these skylines but cannot decide which one. It will be flanked by four 20"x30" floating canvas wraps.

What if I were to crop the 1st one? I feel like it's more New York-ish: especially since I live in Chicago now.
I think you are on to the solution here. I like the first image better but IN MY OPINION it might be improved a bit. I would come in 1/4 of the way from the left and crop, then I would crop from the right to just right of the tall building. Then vertically I would crop out a lot of that sky, and some of the water. I find myself being distracted by the sky and my eyes trying to find a "face" in the clouds.
I think you can crop #1 according to the rule of thirds to achieve the building detail you seek. Nice shots by the way!
I'm limited in size to 20x40 with Metallic Paper unless I have it framed elsewhere - which I think will be more than WHCC. I have heard of ColorPlak and cannot get an idea of their pricing.
Almost there. Crop 10 percent more off each side, which will require you to remove about 1/3 of the sky to keep the same aspect ratio. And yes, cut back a bit on the blue. Then you'll have it!

Broke it into three 20" squares to mount above my TV with about an inch between each one. Each has a focal point of some sort. It's on metallic paper with a 3/4" black standout.
