Kindly fill me in on the new Samyang 35mm T1.5 (Cine) vs the old Samyang 35mm F1.4. Other than the changes in the markings to suit video use, are there any optical changes to the lens?
Am curious because I really want to get this lens, but am unsure if I should go for the older version, or the newer one. I mainly shoot pictures, and a video here and there (not a daily thing for sure)...
The T cine lenses have a decoupled and damped aperture ring. You don't get a solid click when changing aperture. Optics, from what I understand, are identical.
