#1 Panthers Cam Newton (1) Warming up prior to the game
#2 Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams runs the ball in the 1st Qt
#3 Panthers Steve Smith can't hang on to a pass
#4 Raiders QB Carson Palmer hit and knocked out of the game
lol..I was just talking about being in better positions to get faces in higher % of images and getting better at switching from camera to camera when the action gets to close for the longer lens..Plus I wasn't sure the way the pre-game stuff happened so I really wasn't in the best position for the classic shots during introductions.
Were you shooting along the sideline most of the game?
For me personally, I tend to almost strictly from the endzone and whichever side of the 50 the ball is on determines whether which team I am shooting. Right when they get around the 45 and 50, I hustle my butt over to the opposite side of the field (gotta stay in shape) and hope that they don't have 1 big play that I miss.
I find the endzone gives me a lot of opportunity to get the faces is nice with action coming right at me. Also, it's a little less crowded. That's my personal opinion though.
3,4 and 9 were from the end zones...I move and try to shoot from the end zone as much as I can it cleans up the backgrounds and allows for the faces but I am using a 300mm F2.8 and was using a 1.4 tele so I am limited as to what I can get without cropping a lot. If I had a 400-600mm then it would be a lot easier but..I am a poor fella and not as lucky 2 and 10 were from the sidelines about about 10-20 yards ahead of the 1st down markers normally.
1 was during warm up and was even with Cam along the side lines.
Thanks Aqualung...The Doc65...Thank you..it was my first NFL game and hope it will be my first of many more..
