Here are some pictures from Northeastern vs. CCSU. Pictures were taken using a 70-200mm f2.8 VR and 35mm f1.8 with a D5100 and D3100. Shutter speed was usually 1/400 and 1/500. I would've liked to go with a faster shutter speed but the lighting at the venue was pretty bad.

You got some great shots, but on my screen the skin tones seem a bit green... Lighting is always a challenge for basketball.

There is definitely a green hue. I tried playing around with different white balance setting and the above was the best I got. The CCSU photographer had strobes set up, would've made a world of difference.

The images are really soft
The horizons are super distracting
Color cast is off

Keep at it.

Thanks Jeff. I did notice the issues that you mentioned. I think I'll have better luck with a better lit venue. Thanks for the feedback.
