Really Right Stuff sells an accessory that works with an L bracket to secure cables in the camera side ports. It is a little expensive, but likely works well. Check it out here: http://reallyrightstuff.com/ProductDesc.aspx?code=CRS&type=0&eq=&desc=CRS%3a-Cable-Relief-Spacer&key=it
Another thing to look in to is to order a right angle USB cable, that allows the USB cable to turn 90 degrees right at the camera connector. They are available to turn either "up" or "down" so be sure to order what you want. A "down" one would not easily be pulled out for normal camera orientation. And remember if you want to use another cable next to a right angle USB cable, you could be out of luck depending on the particular combination of things, so keep that in mind when selecting a cable.
