Anyone know of a device to secure the camera end of the USB cable? .. I seem to recall a product that screws into the tripod mount and then attaches to the base of the cable and secures it to the camera.
Another thing to look in to is to order a right angle USB cable, that allows the USB cable to turn 90 degrees right at the camera connector. They are available to turn either "up" or "down" so be sure to order what you want. A "down" one would not easily be pulled out for normal camera orientation. And remember if you want to use another cable next to a right angle USB cable, you could be out of luck depending on the particular combination of things, so keep that in mind when selecting a cable.
