Mine does as well...Great camera.. Actually shot part of a job with it today with the Ft1 and the 70 -200 racked out at 200.. so 540mm at 2.8 ay 1600 ISO
Oops. Yeah it does have it in manual mode. I've gotten to where I shoot mine in shutter priority and auto-iso most of the time, which is completely different from how I would shoot a dslr.
The V1 is a neat camera, with some unique advantages and disadvantages and it takes a little getting used to. I really wish it had better controls. I love the silent shutter.
Amazon sells a FotoDiox Grip for it with a opening cut out for the battery door for $39.
Just ordered one.
Cameta Camera sells the 10mm 2.8 for 159 refurb. Got that and next is the 18.5 1.8
What a great camera and for $300 it is a no brainer, Had mine for a few days.
Is the Kit lens worth anything ?, wondering if it is sellable.

I adore the fotodiox grip. It really makes the camera handle well.
Still looking for a hotshoe.
Too bad - can't locate the Fotodiox grip here in Teutonia :-( I would love to have a hotshoe-adapter too or at least a special Pocket-Wizard-cable to work with my existing speedlights.
And a cable to use my PW's to release the V1 would be nice too.
Happy V1-shooting in 2013!
