I'm sure it's something I'm doing or have done wrong but attempting to change a filter from, say, Fuji to Nikon doesn't work and throws an error in the browser status line. WTF?

Which browser are you using? If you are using Internet Exploder, try Google Chrome.

That's not an option for me here. Managed workstation and all that. Surely Fred can fix this. The filters were changeable less than a week ago.

Is there an issue with Internet Explorer? I just tested the B&S filters on most browsers and it is working properly.

Is there a place where I can learn about the filters and what the status icons mean? I am about to list a bunch of stuff and I want to do it right.

I too am having issues with the B&S filter...

I cannot change the filter back. I put in a custom search of 'Canon 70-200' and now every time I try to use one of the preset filters, it just goes back to 'Canon 70-200'. I have tried signing out & in & clearing the cookies, to no avail. I am currently using chrome on a PC.

Hi, Fred. Here, at work, we are 'stuck' with IE8. Some issue with the way it handles or doesn't handle our authentication servers. Recently, I could the filters on the B&S here at work but now it just throws an 'Error on page'. Using another browser isn't really an option for me. And, it's possible that our managed desktops have been mis-managed.
