p.1 #1 · Melting

Hello All,

This is the drive out of the Yosemite valley on the 120. I usually stop by this area for a few photos as its not photographed as much as the valley. While the valley had tons of snow, the upper portions were melting away.

The barren, snow covered look + the color/light.
Gives me a few ideas for my next trip

I agree with Dan - the snow covered rocks and dirt are interesting. I might be tempted to crop off about two thirds of the sky but I like it a lot as it is.

Very nice! I like the crop idea but I like to shoot panoramas a lot! I like the light hitting the hill on the left.
