I am considering buying a CB gimbal mount and was wondering if anyone here has actual experience using them? I have read the past threads on them and all reviews seem positive, but most are older- from shortly after they came out. I am looking to hear from someone that has used one for a while.
I know that the Wimberleys and Jobu heads are highly thought of. I'm just trying to decide which is best for me. I am interested in hearing from those that have actually owned and used the CB Gimbal.
I can speak well for the CB gimbal. It is up to the Wimberley. Both are very good units. I have tried both and bought the CB only because it does break down into a smaller package. Additionally I can use it as a side bracket with my smaller lenses.
You will not be unhappy with it, or a Wimberley.
I can not speak for the Jobu gimbal, but everything I read was good. They were more expensive than CB or Wimberley.
