Thanks SS, Scott and Ed.
Definitely work the Canadian Rockies into some future travels.
An impossible choice to make, but if I were to TRY to make a choice of the top five places in North America to see the wonders of nature, the Banff/Jasper area would be among them.
So accessible... and so magnificent.

Nice shot! And I am biased but would have to agree that the landscape treasures in Banff / Jasper combined with the relative lack of people and their accessibility are amazing.
Thank you Vern and Phil.
Living in Calgary is pretty cold in winter, eh? But from what I know about it, it's a fine city.
And so close to those Canadian Rockies... they must me a constant temptation for all photographers living there.
I have others, Phil, but I'm trying to find some that I haven't posted at all- or at least that were posted a year ago or more.

Yep - it can be too cold here but on the bright side, the cold kills a lot of diseases and keeps the glaciers and mountains snowy! Also - there's nothing like skiing all that wonderful back country...
Charlie, an amazing amount of beauty. One of the best trips my wife and I have taken, the Canadian Rockies are simply stunning. Great shot , regards Dean
