Excellent Bob. Frameworthy for sure.
Fine creative vision and execution.
Since we are supposed to find some suggestions, maybe less dark vignette lower left, a bit more shadows opened up in the cab?
Love to know how you are doing this, finding the texture overlays, etc.
Scott
Thanks for the suggestions Scott,
I can never correctly predict the printed look - will use that as a baseline. This will join the earlier version (recall broken headlamp - right front fender?) and about exhausts my cull of the Shaniko series.
How? Place image (usually texture) over the background (CS6 File->Place). Adjust opacity, blend mode, sizing, and add mask/brushing on/off portions of the texture if necessary. 'bout it. I do not know of anyway to do this with LR, not to say there isn't one.
I found the textures as free downloads somewhere on the internet. Now, if I spot something that might be useful later, I grab a capture and use later if appropriate. Subjects - rusted metal work, charcoal grill grating, and most recently although I missed it, the interior of a construction dumpster - paint, dings, rust, scratches, the whole deal - but it was filled and removed the next day. Procrastination - one of my stronger suits.
Too, you can create grunge brushes to paint effect, although I've tried and discarded as too much work.
A look I happen (at the moment) to like, obviously not for everyone.
Regards,
Bob
