Inspired by Phil Hawkins' recent nudge, I drove to Yosemite yesterday afternoon to find the clouds rolling in---interesting perspective of some often bland images.
How cool! I sure wish I could have gotten up there too. #4 and 5 are my favorites here. Yosemite is so cool no matter what, but when the clouds come out, it sure makes it a magical place. Nice work.
At Yosemite, timing is everything. I arrived at 2:30pm with barely a cloud in the sky (pic 1). By 4:15pm the clouds at Tunnel View had El Cap & the valley mostly covered. Drove down the hill to head home about 4:30pm, the clouds parted a bit, and the sun lit up El Cap (pic 5). Shortly thereafter, the whole valley was covered.
