Inspired by Phil Hawkins' recent nudge, I drove to Yosemite yesterday afternoon to find the clouds rolling in---interesting perspective of some often bland images.

Hey Jack,

How cool! I sure wish I could have gotten up there too. #4 and 5 are my favorites here. Yosemite is so cool no matter what, but when the clouds come out, it sure makes it a magical place. Nice work.

Thanks all who've posted.

At Yosemite, timing is everything. I arrived at 2:30pm with barely a cloud in the sky (pic 1). By 4:15pm the clouds at Tunnel View had El Cap & the valley mostly covered. Drove down the hill to head home about 4:30pm, the clouds parted a bit, and the sun lit up El Cap (pic 5). Shortly thereafter, the whole valley was covered.

Very nice set.
Number 4 get's my vote.Just wish there were more on top/less on bottom
I will have to sneak out at the next story cycle now

I was fortunate there was rain before my last trip at Thanksgiving but I'd read the falls were really flowing after the latest rain.

Great shots of tunnel view and El Capitan. Those are my favorites.
