Still seeing some common wasps about- mainly drones but a few females that I guess must be Queens rather than workers althought they did not seem very big.

So cool! Where did you take these? (That is my almost 9-year old granddaughter asking the question!) Did you take pics of the wasp without getting stung? I wish I had a better camera. Really, I do..... so, one more question. If I could get a pic of a wasp like u, would it sting me?
fingerda. I took the shots in my garden. I had put some sugar/honey drops on a camelia bush to attract the bugs.
No I didn't get stung - as long as you are careful and not aggressive- wasps will not sting you. The males cannot sting anyway.
