Topic pretty much says in all. Just hoping to do some intimate macro work with a birch forest but don't know the first place to start!

Start anywhere. The state is full of trees, particularly the western half.

Somebody asked this before. I'm sure there must be birch woods closer to Philadelphia, but there are a ton of birch in places in the Quehanna Wild Area. In particular, along the Quehanna trail near Arch Spring.
