Waffling back and fourth on this sale. So its up again
Up for grab is a like new 85mm f1.4 AIS. It does not include the box but if I had the box it could be sold as new. This guy is immaculate. The hood is near mint with slight scuff barely visible on the very edge. However, the lens itself is like new.

It's been nearly 30 years since I've seen an 85mm AIS lens this clean!!! Pricey Hardly, considering this is a piece of Nikon history and may just be the thing for a collector of older Nikon bodies, such as the F2AS!

Yea. I hear you. Some of the reviews on this lens are simply amazing. if you nail the focus, they say its better than the AF version. Unfortunately, my eyes are giving out on me and I cant focus very well anymore. I am dumping all my MF glass including my 50 1.2 which is also like new.

Sadly we all sooner or later have to give these fantastic lenses up simply because our eyes are giving out on us...
I am able to focus my 1.2 through 2.0 lenses
manually quite well using the focus indicator light on my D3 and D800, not so much on the D200.
