I hiked with my 500 through the sand to try and get the reddish egret doing his antics. He was in a very quiet mood and only stood still . I now am still because I am in pain
I did however get my first greater yellowlegs ( please correct me if ID incorrect).
Also found some sanderlings.

Overall, nice shots, very nice intact.
Crits for me:
#1 Just loverly
#2 Fun display of action and a nice balance of color and contrast
#3 A real charmer of a shot but maybe could use a hint of that contrast from #2 Just looks a little 'flat' to me?

Very nice work Birdie, nice angles, the subjects seem relaxed and it looks like a beautiful day. All of these are well executed but I'm going with 2 as my pick. I would not have cropped it the way you did and that would be my loss, I really like what you did with it

First- the Victoria's Secret TV show.
I tried to watch it because, well, I'm a guy. But after 15 minutes I realized that all those beautiful long-legged women were dressed like clowns... some with wings. And they really walk funny (stomp is a better description).
I remember the first couple of Victoria's Secrets TV shows when they REALLY modeled sexy lingerie. And the vast amounts of visible skin was inspiring. Nowadays it's just a glitzy-crap "Reality TV" show- like we need another one of those.
