Really lovely shots!

The sharpness with the 2X extender seems excellent. Makes me rethink my future plan to acquire an 800 (and by future plan, I mean way in the future!).

Just received my 2x MkIII today. After seeing these I'm dying for a bit of sunlight. So far it appears 0 MA is pretty close but what's amazing is AF speed even in lousy light.

Impressive series of photos. Thanks for posting.
