I went for a wintery hike near a creek. After stepping into some water that then froze to the tread of my hiking boot I slide and fell on my arse. Luckily I have no photos of that and because it felt slow motion I was able to move my camera bag to my front.
But here is a shot that I did get while I wasn't falling down.
Trying to not get into a winter photography rut like the past few years.

This, and the little bit of bright sky on top is a distraction. I think you could crop it out and still have a great shot! Looks so cold, glad you didn't freeze in place.
Well, as they say, fall down seven times, get up eight. I'm glad you got up and got this shot. It's a beautiful depiction of winter. The cold practically jumps through the screen.
