I didn't have good light and a tad more reach would have helped but all things considered I think I have a nice behavioral series.

NOTE: I should mention this fish had been caught and dropped by other eagles two times prior to this sequence. When all the fun started, there were probably 4-5 eagles involved.

Great behavioral pictures of bad robery behavior, those eagles. But they provide a lot of fun for photographers. thanks for the show.

Excellent sequence Ted - yes tell us more of the outcome ! Is this a normal tactic for another eagle to tailgate a fishing eagle ? Or were there actually two eagles going for one fish (or two) and the second eagle veered off ?

The eagle who caught the fish came away with it in this series Charlie. I should mention this fish had been caught and dropped by other eagles two times prior to this sequence.
