Here's a couple of pictures from the Alberta Cup yesterday in Canmore Alberta. Racers from all over, including Norway, Russia and the US (and Canada, obviously) came out. There was some significant elevation changes throughout the course. Both of the shots below were on a fast downhill section where the racers could rest a bit.
Question for anyone who's interested: Most of the races featured a "mass start" where anywhere from 15 to 40 athletes would take off at the same time. I was trying to portray the chaos of this start but didn't get anything I liked. Any suggestions?
Canmore is right in the middle of the mountains, so I wanted to get them in the BG and that downhill portion of the track set up perfectly for panning.
