After seeing lots of excellent images from Tom I did feel the urge to improve my solar processing.
I went through my files and found this image shot somewhere in France in 2008.

One of the fascinations of Europe for me was that such roof-top "scenery" was quite common almost everywhere. Most American roof-tops have zero visual appeal to me.
I like the basic image here.

yes, Charlie is right- an interesting subject to shoot.
Chris: solar: it looks like you made a selection of the roof, with out the sky. this sky might make a nice solar subject. you might think about taming some of the whites, especially on the chimney and gain more texture.

No selection of the sky. Solar just didn't do much to the sky.
Very good suggestions, Tom. I did play some more and added a funny looking 'U" shaped curved to the sky.
