This falls in NW Maine is off the beaten path - about 20 miles on a logging road (with the last 11 miles is rough) and a 3/4 mile hike at the end of the road - but well worth the effort! C&C always appreciated.

Nicely done, Dave. Agree with Phil. Really like the way this is presented. The introduction of the winding river adds greatly to this. You should go back when it's dusted with snow.
Thanks for the comments!
I was lucky as there is a bluff just below the falls that allows a good unobstructed view. I should have mentioned this was three 21mm shots stitched together.

Man, you must not have gone all the way in, you can drive pretty much to Grand Falls...or was the gate closed? been here a 100 times, always an awesome spot, very nice photo!

Gate was closed. But 3/4 mile hike after 20 miles on that road was nothing!

Bummer that the gate was closed!
Another good place to shoot in the fall is bag bog, the end closer to Eustis on the chain of ponds...and old dam there, with very high cliff sides...
