p.1 #1 · Unique take on portrait photography

Check out the latest issue of F11 online free magazine, which features Bill Gekas. He is an Australian photographer who has a unique style of shooting portraits themed on classic painters. BTW, I have NO affiliation with the magazine. It is a worthwhile read.

Try this: http://www.f11magazine.com/site/

It's the home page of the current issue featuring this photographer. At least, it works for me.

By the way, subscriptions are free. Click on the subscribe tab to subscribe if you want to receive it.

Very interesting, incredible user of very soft, under-stated light. Here's the link:

Good grief. I was only trying to share something I thought was unique with members of the forum. I more or less figured if you could handle a DSLR you would be able to type in the name of the magazine. If you post a link, some people think you are trying to promote something; if you don't they call you smart ass. This isn't my work. If you can't be bothered to type a line, move on. Glad most of you took the time to look. It's what this place is all about.

A lot of his work is on 500px as well...If I'm not mistaken that';s his daughter and together they have produced some beautiful images.

Richard - If you look up the link and include it in your post, that's one person looking it up and the rest of us just click. The way you did it, 200+ people have to look it up. See the difference?

And the reality is many people will decline to look it up, but would click the link.

Works for me. It opens a book format, where you click thru the pages.

Different strokes for........I loved it showed it to my wife she absolutely hated it. Too over processed and perfect in her eyes. The faces are a bit unnatural but that is what he was going for.
