Parasitized harvestman with eggs 8 shot stack:
I like this shot because it has so much going on, the recently evacuated pupal cases still stuck to the mother, the developing eggs in the background and the harvestman crouching protectively over her brood. It took a lot of reworking in post since it was a handheld stack done freehand at about 2X magnification so I had to do a manual stack in Zerene to take care of all the artifacts. Overall though I'm relatively happy with the result.
Harvestman eggs:
In order to cut through the reflections and glare on the eggs I radically increased the contrast and definition. Though the alienness of the landscape and of the developing embryos does add something.
