Nice shots Brian number 3 is my favourite with the proboscis in full extension. The last one suffers a little from uneven lighting on the left side in my opinion.

Very nice fly. On the last the light is primarily from the right, is that a deliberate variation of your light's position or ... ? No suffering, it just looks unusual for your stuff ...

Mark - No change to my standard system - it obviously depend a bit on the shooting angle of the camera/flash to the subject but basically the flash is on the RHS of the lens from my POV.
