Built in the 1870's, this is believed to be one of Spokane's oldest structures.
The roof collapsed in the winter of 08, and the structure was rebuilt.
The barn includes two ventilated storage areas separated by a breezeway that functioned as a grain threshing floor.
Can't believe I just discovered this gem last week!

You know, I fiddled with the idea of a little ccw, but the actual landscape of this is tilted in reality. But the tilt bugs me in the pic, too! Never know whether to keep it real or make it more pleasing with some post work...

I suspected your absence was because of personal matters. I truly hope your wife's condition is resolved favorably. Any woman who puts up with your twisted sense of humor (yes- I remember your long ago- and hilarious- posts ) deserves some good luck occasionally.
About this pic- IMO- go for the rotation. The reality of the terrain is known only by you. Everyone else sees the picture totally out of that context. As such, the image tilts to the right.
Do I detect a touch of IR?
If so, it's very subtle (about the only kind I can normally tolerate).
A great subject, Tim, and I really like your image of it.

Hi Tim,
I like the IR feel to this, but the barn roof makes the image for me. Also I like how the darks at the bottom and the top of the image frame the cool middle. I'm not sure what is up, but I gather your wife's health isn't good. If that is the case stay strong, and I hope things are getting better.
