When did it go up? I just noticed on the last item I sold that I'm paying 4% now...

Another reason to use google checkout.

I don't see any indication on the PayPal site that it has changed.

The charge is higher if the payment is international linked to a credit card.

I just sold something on ebay, buyer in texas and it was 4%

Doesn't PP charge increase as a function of the dollar amount of the item sold?

The secession movement in Texas is gathering steam, so PayPal may have changed it's fees in anticipation of Texas actually becoming "a whole 'nother country".

In that case, I don't mind paying the extra 1% in order to help facilitate the move.

If they are thinking of joining the Canadian Federation, I can tell you right now that we do not want them.

Let them try Mexico instead, lottsa historical and cultural ties there, plus joined geography.
