However the highlights are totally blown out in both the Tufa's and the cloud highlights and it's so over sharpened that it ruins the image. It's a shame as this could be a very nice.
As I've said before to you, you have some cracking images but your processing of them really needs a lot of work.

No RAW- I shoot Kodak slide film that I scan. Hot spots (and very dar shadows) sometimes present processing problems when I scan slides, because in truth there is nothing there for me to deal with. I can sometimes manufacture detail- but I don't like to very often.
Then, of course, there are the multitudes of variables with people's preferences and all the differences between monitors and software. Photographers way more skilled than I have admitted that there are so many variables that it's almost impossible for anyone to say "that is right," or "that is wrong." It's too subjective.
