Buddy was a familiar fixture at the gift shop of owner Many Holloman in Telegraph Cove, Vancouver island. He was attacked and blinded in both eyes by a mountain lion several years ago. I wondered how he was able to get around the boardwalk area since there was no barrier preventing him from falling into the cove, but he managed somehow. In the past Orcas have been photographed swimming around the boat dock area.
