Just saw post on Sigma 120-300 value and looked at the linked database. Looks like I am at mid-range so a modest reduction may be in order to sell faster.
This is an excellent lens but not one that is in high demand. I had one and sold it to buy another lens. After reviewing images taken with it I bought another. A very sharp lens. For me personally, a senior citizen, 200mm is right at the margin of focal lengths where I need IS. That means in low light I need a tripod or to switch to my 70-200mm f2.8 ii which provides a lot more flexibility along with the IS but it is heavy and white. I would say that at a price of $550 it may sell quicker but no guarantee. A premium price requires a box and all accessories as when new along with at least a 9+ condition both functionally and cosmetically.
The 200/2.8 is an excellent lens. I purchased a like new version II from the FM B&S forum for $635 (shipped). It had a QR plate on the tripod ring, all accessories, and the box. Although an excellent lens, there is not a high demand. I think your price is OK, but if you want to sell quicker, you may have to drop the price a bit.
I've owned the EF 200 2.8L since the mid-90s and what a fine optic: tack sharp, stealthy black for ease of use in public and rippin' fast AF. As I recall, it was about $600 new back in the day but came with a hard case. But, yeah, it's a low demand optic and that translates into good deals for buyers but not so much for sellers.
Hate to be brutally honest but....you might lower the price it's a US. The rear looks dusty with the metal a bit pitted. The grip on the barrel shows aging. With new pics maybe start just under $500.00.

I was gonna say something similar but didn't want to come off as a "short for Richard". I'm sure it works great and you took as good care of it as you could but its definitely showing signs of wear. For 600 it would have to be a 9 out of 10 all around. Good for you for not doctoring up the photos though. Its nice to see an honest seller. I bet it would seel quickly at $500.
