Hello,

I've attached a couple of pics that was taken at a studio in D.C. I am an inspiring wedding photographer but I have found that it is quite difficult to get into that area of photography so an friend suggested in the meantime, I should shoot at different workshops to hone in my skills. C&C is always welcome so let me know what you all think.

The first is very nice Ad. It might be the in-style, but I peronally do not care for the treatment of the second.

I have a feeling I would like the second image if it wasn't for the "wash" treatment, just don't crop too close to the top of her head. The cropping on the first one is also way too tight for me, I would like her head in the middle of the image when it's that close. Keep in mind that images will have "bleed/crop" areas when used in print ads and other layouts.

I like the crop of the first shot. I like it in general in fact. It's a good shot of a beautiful woman.

I don't like the second shot at all. The crop is way too tight and the lack of contrast is distressing to me. It just doesn't work for me at all.

Way too much skin smoothing in #1...she has that plastic look.
#2...undo what appears to be a vignette, undo the haze, and desaturate the red.
They would look better with ^ done. Just my opinion.

I like both photos, but I think that the second would be better with different cropping (especially around the head) and more contrast.

I went ahead and attached the original photo. The only PP done was a slight crop.
