It's at a weird angle, but that's because (on top of the plane climbing in altitude) I was sneaking some shots in on the plane and technically electronic devices weren't supposed to be turned on yet.
The first is a bit post-processed (I moved the blacks slider all the way to the left, and touched up some weird "purple creep" that was intermingling below the horizon near one of the city lights. This one wasn't as heavily postprocessed. (I turn up the whites of course, to bring out the highlights, but I don't consider that "heavy postprocessing".) Here's a photo that's not so postprocessed, but without the "city centre".
